Breezy winds will die down this afternoon.
There could be some residual gusty winds this morning to about noon. Gusts could crack 20mph but won’t do much better than that. Otherwise it’ll be a great day with clear blue skies all day and temperatures reaching into the mid 70s. This gorgeous weather is brought to us by a giant blue H on the weather maps representing high pressure directly over the west coast. Our west coast high will remain through tomorrow with the winds dying down then. Friday brings some high clouds but no rain and marks a boundary between our warm high pressure area and an even warmer stronger high off the coast. That high will again kick the winds up out of the north.
Saturday the high will dominate our weather and keep the temperatures even warmer. Highs will peak near 80° on both Saturday and Sunday before cooling slightly on Monday.
Our next chance for any rain comes Wednesday into Thursday with a very unimpressive looking system. We’ll keep you updated as to what will happen to this system, but I wouldn’t hold out too much hope for it.
